The EMF and the miniEURO are clearly a cultural, athletic and social entity/event. They embrace thousands of young (mostly) people who wish to do sport, develop their skills and spirit. The dominant ideas are fair play & pure sportsmanship. The EMF in total is a totally innovative Federation for European standards, ideal for all these people who are very much into collective sport activities. Let us keep in mind the fact that the members of the EMF are very specialized in the field of events marketing and management in each country and through the EMF they all join their skills, their knowledge, their potential and of course their common vision in order to develop the social side of minifootball. And indeed, nobody should ever forget that the differentiating element between the EMF and all the other federations or organizations is the EMF’s slogan: “You play.” What does this mean? In minifootball you stop sitting on a couch in front of a TV admiring other players or other stars. You stop being passive and you become energetic. You play, you participate, you become the protagonist, the star of your team.
EMF’s responsibility towards society plays a key role in the EMF activities. This initiative has only positive results as it helps solve existing social issues in Europe, attracts even more publicity to the brand of EMF (which is really important for the csr activity) and builds a positive social profile for the EMF and for the minifootball as the most popular sport in the world.
Csr and HSSE committee
Common in enterprises, industries, organizations, societies and institutions, the HSSE framework is a set of rules, principles, guidelines and actions which aim at developing a responsible culture so as to efficiently manage all aspects related to health, safety, security and environment.
In other words, HSSE stands for a system that protects people, material and the environment from the consequences of damage, loss or poor performance.
Major companies all over the globe are or would rather be committed to HSSE. Most of them have gone as far as to create corporate HSSE divisions with the appropriate staff. Anyhow, HSSE stands for responsible care and is part of the Corporate Social Responsibility of entrepreneurship.
EMF is the leader of minifootball in Europe and enters the club of the major sports organizations in the world. This venture is not an easy ride and all steps are taken with care and reason. So, one should also think about the unavoidable possibility a player, a visitor, a spectator, a partner, some equipment or a place bear a misfortune. But no need for worries, as HSSE care and action are embedded in EMF, through the HSSE Committee. Everyone is aware of the benefits of prevention, proactiveness and forecast compared to the limited capacity of post – treatment. That is exactly what the HSSE framework / culture aspires to achieve: To implement a safe and secure environment where all activities are carried out with no one getting hurt and nothing getting damaged.
